Option 1: the eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa

If you hold a used tourist or business visa for the US, UK or a Schengen country (you entered on it at least once), or residency in the US, UK, EU or a GCC country, you can apply for the tourist eVisa online or get a visa on arrival. It is valid for a year with multiple entries. Carry the visa or residence card when you travel.

Apply only on the official site, visa.visitsaudi.com.

Option 2: the 96-hour stopover visa

Flying with Saudia or flynas through Riyadh or Jeddah? Add a stopover of up to 96 hours when you book. The visa is free; this site assumes an illustrative SAR 52.50 (≈ $14) in application and insurance charges. The booking page confirms whether your passport is eligible.

Option 3: a tourist visa from the embassy

Apply through the Saudi embassy or a VFS Global centre in the Philippines. Fees and processing times are set per nationality, so check with VFS before you book flights.

Check your government’s travel advice

Before you book, read your own government’s advice for Saudi Arabia. As reviewed on 23 October 2026, Australia and New Zealand say “do not travel”; the US says “reconsider travel”; Canada and Ireland say “avoid non-essential travel”. Travelling against official advice can void travel insurance. See is Saudi Arabia safe right now?
