Saudi eVisa cost: estimates and the official checkout

SAR 535 (≈ $143) is this site’s planning assumption, not a live quote. Your selected visa route and the official payment page determine the amount you actually pay.

The short answer

Planning assumption, not a verified checkout quote: this site uses SAR 535 (≈ $143) for an online eVisa. We did not obtain a current itemised payment quote on 23 October 2026. Check the actual visa route, insurance, taxes and total before payment; do not infer a scam or a guaranteed saving from a price difference alone.

Use the official Saudi eVisa portal for an application-specific price. We have not independently verified the old SAR 300 (≈ $80) / 180 / 55 split, an on-arrival saving, or a universal child fee in the current checkout. These should not be presented as freshly checked facts.

Compare the complete cost, not one advertised fee

  • Confirm whether you are applying for an eVisa, ETA, visa waiver, on-arrival visa or stopover permission. Eligibility and insurance differ.
  • Check visa fee, medical insurance premium, service charges and taxes before payment.
  • Separate any third-party agency fee from official charges. A different price alone does not prove fraud.
  • Check currency conversion and card charges separately from the riyal total.

Check the price and terms before you pay

  1. Use the correct official route

Start from the official Saudi eVisa portal or the official route linked from your government’s entry guidance. UK travellers should also read the FCDO entry requirements, which distinguish ETA and eVisa.

  2. Review your own application

Confirm passport details, visa type, included insurance, refund conditions and final amount. Do not submit an application just to test a price.

  3. Keep the receipt and reference

Retain the application reference, payment receipt and accepted terms. If a payment or application fails, use official support rather than assuming a second payment is necessary.

Price your whole trip separately

The visa estimate is one part of a trip budget. Use the trip cost calculator for explicitly illustrative 7-, 10- and 14-day examples, and the current safety guide before making non-refundable bookings.

Questions travellers ask

Is SAR 535 (≈ $143) the current official Saudi eVisa price?

Not a live price verified by this site. SAR 535 (≈ $143) is our inherited planning assumption. Confirm the total for your own application on the official payment page before paying.

Is the visa on arrival always cheaper?

We have not verified a current universal saving. Compare the routes for which you qualify, their insurance and charges, and the applicable travel advice. Do not travel solely on an assumed price or eligibility.

Will I get a refund if my application is rejected?

Check the terms for the exact application and payment. Do not assume an automatic refund or pay again before consulting official support. This review did not verify a universal current refund rule.

Does a Saudi ETA include the eVisa medical insurance?

The FCDO entry page reviewed on 23 October 2026 says the ETA does not include health insurance, while the tourist eVisa includes medical insurance. The two routes are not interchangeable.
