Pick your area first
Ashar Valley is where the best-known resorts sit, tucked into a canyon about 15 minutes from the airport. It is quiet, dramatic and self-contained.
AlUla Old Town and the oasis put you within walking distance of the historic centre, cafes and the palm groves. Better for exploring on foot.
Wherever you stay, you will still need a car or driver for Hegra, Elephant Rock and Dadan.
