Fly into AlUla’s own airport, then drive. The road trip from Riyadh or Jeddah is long and mostly empty desert.

Our recommendation
Fly to ULH on a domestic flight and pick up a hire car at the airport. AlUla’s sights are spread across the valley, taxis are scarce and ride-hailing is unreliable. A car gives you sunrise at Elephant Rock and dinner in the old town without waiting.
If you would rather not drive, pre-book a private transfer to your resort and arrange a driver for the days you are sightseeing.
